Mr. Benjamin Mark Carpenter, age 71, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Wellstar

Paulding Hospital (Hiram, Georgia).

Mr. Carpenter was born on September 15, 1950, in Americus, Georgia, to Dr. John Mark Carpenter and Mrs. Betty Sue (Hawkins) Carpenter. He was married to Mrs. Martha "Marti" (Turner) Carpenter for 45 years. He was a real people person who loved his Lord and family with all his heart. He was also a baseball coach for many years, coaching from T-Ball all the way up to High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Mark Carpenter.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Marti Carpenter; his sons, Mr. Benjamin Luke Carpenter (Sarah) and Mr. John David Carpenter (Sarah Henderson); his stepdaughter, Donna Ross; his grandchildren, Benaiah, Lily, Quinne, Rowan, Titus, Thea, Lucy, Tae, Ashton, Madison and Jared; his mother, Mrs. Betty Sue Carpenter; his sisters, Mrs. Nancy Hulsey (Tommy), Mrs. Kim Abrams (Steve) and Mrs. Barbara Clement (Jeff); his brother, Mr. Chris Carpenter (Janice); his aunt, Mrs. Joanne Hawkins; nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services for Mr. Mark Carpenter will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Stephens Memorial Gardens (Toccoa, Georgia).

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home in Dallas, GA.

The family has requested that no flowers be sent for Mr. Carpenter. They wish for donations to be made in Mr. Carpenter's memory to either the VFW or the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes.
