Mr. Allen Bruce Thompson, age 58, of Eastanollee, GA, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home.

Born April 18, 1963 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late John Bruce and Nancy Karen Shafer Thompson.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was the owner/operator of Thompson Auto Body.  Allen had also worked for Tabor Motor Company for 27 years and was GM Certified.  He was known for his excellence in auto body work and took great pride in his work. He was known for his passion of the outdoors and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Allen was a gentle giant with a kind spirit and a big heart.  He loved his family and friends.

Family members include his wife, Deanne Carroll Thompson of the home; daughter, Julia Thompson and Brandon Coan; son, Austin Thompson and Melissa Thomason; sister and brother-in-law, Kristi and Jeff Smith; step-daughter, Kylee Caudell; grand-son, Cade Caudell;  special nieces and nephew, Lexie Fulbright, Dacen Cash, and Lauren DeLozier; sister-in-law, brother-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 4pm – 7pm Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday, February 11, 2022 at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Stacy Penland and the Rev. Jerrell Beatty officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens.

Steve Gibby, Mike Williams, Charles Deal, Michael Thomas, Matt Moon and Josh Williams will serve as pallbearers.  Donny Gettys will serve as honorary pallbearer.
