Today, April 28, 2025, we gather with heavy hearts to celebrate the life of a woman who touched so many ~ Alisha Denise Fowler Gordon. Though words feel small in moments like these, we do our best to honor her legacy, her spirit, and her unwavering faith.

Alisha was born May 3, 1984, in Anderson, SC.  She was a member of Cleveland Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a homemaker.  Alisha was a woman who loved deeply and at the center of that love were her two precious children, Elijah and Hadassah.  She poured her heart into them, raising them with strength, grace, and the same love for God that lit up her own life.  They were her joy, her pride, and her purpose.  Anyone who knew Alisha knew her love for Jesus.  Her faith wasn't just something she spoke about; it was something she lived.  She loved her church family dearly and found strength and joy in their fellowship.  Whether in worship, prayer, or simply spending time together, she cherished those moments.  She never hesitated to share her testimony to let others know how God had moved in her life in hopes that others might find that same hope and peace.

She leaves behind a family who loves her more than words can express; her mother, Shelia Adams Fowler; her father, Danny Fowler; her brother, Daniel Fowler; nieces, Gracie Fowler and Kapree Pritchett; nephew, Dayton Fowler; aunts and uncles; special lifelong friends, Amanda DeSimone and Jesse Robinson; and of course, Elijah and Hadassah, the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that Alisha is with her Saviour - the one she loved and served so faithfully.  Her life was a testimony in itself, and her faith continues to live on through the lives she touched.

May we honor her by walking in love, by sharing our stories and by keeping her spirit alive through our faith and actions. Rest well Alisha.  You were truly my best friend.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 6pm – 8pm Thursday, May 1, 2025.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at three o'clock Friday, May 2, 2025 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Mark Waters officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.
