Mr. Adam Brent Benfield, age 41, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home.

Born August 8, 1979, in Stephens County, Georgia, he is the son of Cindy Jean Jordan Frier and Teddy Gene Benfield.

Adam was of the Christian faith and worked for Patterson Pump.  Prior to working for Patterson Pump, he worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta.

Family members in addition to his parents include his wife, Tiffany Stocks Benfield; daughters, Kaitlyn Benfield and Brianna Benfield; sons, James "Chubba" Roush, Brody Roush, and William Roush; a brother, Matt Benfield; a sister, Kristin Benfield; grandmother, Susan Jordan; and step-father, Ken Frier.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles H. Jordan, Quinton Benfield, and Elizabeth Benfield.

Funeral Services will be held at three o'clock Sunday, February 28, 2021 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Mr. Darin Critchlow officiating.

Burial will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the United States Marine Corps.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Niels Cortes, Bryon Bullard, Terry Smith, Michael Merriett, Jim Bob Jones, and Neal O'Leary.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:30 until the service hour on Sunday.

Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
