Mr. William Richard "Ricky" Simpson, age 58, of Toccoa, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 at his home.

Born December 9, 1967 in Toccoa, he was a son of the late Harrison Simpson and the late Alice Westmoreland Burton.

Ricky was a Christian and a member of the Holiness Faith. He was formerly employed with Bosel Industries. Ricky enjoyed Square Dancing and was a local Square Dance Caller.

Family members include his son, James “Jamie” Simpson; and sisters, Teresa Segars, Yvonne Savage, and Karen Hicks.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Irvin Dale Simpson.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
