Pastor Jerry G. Hardenbrook, age 91, of Westminster, SC, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026 at his home.

Born March 12, 1935 in Starke FL, he was the son of the late Isaiah and Essie Viola Grace Hardenbrook.

Mr. Hardenbrook was a retired pastor at Victory Tabernacle Church in Walhalla, SC, and was President of the Victory Tabernacle World Missions. He was a loving husband to his beloved wife, Emma Jo, with whom he shared 64 wonderful years of marriage. He was a devoted daddy to his seven children, and a cherished Granddad and Papa to his 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Everyone who knew him could tell you just how deeply he loved his family. His family was his joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them. But above all, he was a dedicated man of God. He faithfully preached the Gospel throughout the United States and in other countries, sharing the love and message of Jesus Christ with countless people. His faith was the foundation of his life, and his desire was always to serve God and lead others to Him. His legacy of love, faith, family, and service will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family members include his daughters, Joley Dixon (Wade) of Danielsville, GA, Donna Wilson (Randall) of Ringwood, OK, Sherry Hayes (Bob) of Sand Springs, OK, and Sandi Cox (Craig) of Greenville, SC; sons, Greg Crawford (Pam) of Hahira, GA, and Jerry R. Hardenbrook (Kriste) of Easley, SC; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. He was the last surviving member of his family of three brothers and two sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jo Brown Hardenbrook; son, Corey W. Hardenbrook; granddaughter, April Crawford, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Hardenbrook.

The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 1:00pm until 2:45pm Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at three o’clock Saturday, September 5, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with Pastor Jamie Groover, Pastor Wade Dixon, and Pastor Greg Crawford officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Andrew Dixon, Andrew Lowery, Stephen McFarlin, Mike Hardenbrook, Cory Hardenbrook, Anthony Wilson, Gary Woodruff, and Lester Ball.

Flowers are optional. Memorial contributions may be made to “Love a Child” in Haiti or to “Camp Maranatha” in Danielsville, GA.
