Mrs. Inez Keller Brown age 95, of Toccoa, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Pruitt Health in Toccoa.
Born August 7, 1931 in Stephens County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Watson Keller and the late Alpha Lavona Stewart Keller.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and she retired from Coats & Clark with 50 years of employment. Inez enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and playing cards. She was an avid Card Shark until the age of 93. Inez loved her family and she was an excellent cook. She loved to watch her grandson Kole at pig shows.
Family members include her daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Collins, Kathy Cabe, and Buffy Kelley and Joe; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth Keller and Joan; sister-in-law, Frances Keller; grandchildren, Lavona Bridges, Ruby Pedersen, Ken Wheeler, Kole Kelley, and Wes Kelley (Holly); twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Herman Brown; brothers, Dwayne Keller, Jim Keller, and Fred Keller; sisters, Lutrelle Whiten, Estelle Williams, and Cortez Fulbright; grandson, Devin Wheeler; sons-in-law, Gary Cabe and Bill Collins.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 3:30pm until 4:45pm Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at five o’clock Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Brandon Crunkleton officiating.
Burial will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Jamie Smith officiating at the graveside service.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Isaac Bridges, Ty Wheeler, Kole Kelley, Joe Kelley, Ken Wheeler, and Wes Kelley.
Stanley Keller, Allen Turpin, Allen Keller, Morris Whiten, Kayle Whiten, and Bill McDougal will serve as honorary pallbearers.
