Mr. James Carlos Davis, age 83, of Toccoa Falls, GA, formerly of Sulphur, OK, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Stephens County Hospital.

Born May 29, 1942 in Big Springs, Texas, he was the son of the late Joseph Clifton Davis and the late Vila Crowe Davis.

Carlos lived in Sulphur, OK until moving to Toccoa Falls this past December.  He was a Christian and was a veteran of the National Guard.

Family members include his wife of 64 years, Shirley Orr Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Lori Davis of Toccoa Falls; grandchildren, Sarah Beaverson and Isaac of Indiana and Kyle Davis and Hope of Oklahoma; sisters, Rickie Hawkins of Illinois and Donna Parks and Kevin of Canada; brother, David Davis and Suzanne of Texas.

Funeral services will be held in Oklahoma.
